Wireless Internet

Use Cambium Support Cloud to look into 3.65Ghz or 5GHz Wireless Customers.    Older 2.4Ghz should have their radio information listed in Ivue under their internet agreement, facilities, and subscriber information.  If it is missing call 4400 for help finding their radio.

Support Cloud will show you uptime, signal levels, throughput, allow you to run link capacity tests, etc…  These can also all be seen on the 2.4Ghz by logging directly into the radios.   Logging into 2.4Ghz radios, use username root with no password.

– Include signal level current and average in ticket.
– Include radio uptime and session uptime in ticket.
– Include results of link capacity test in ticket.
– Indicate if the customer is currently connected to the internet with a WAN IP address in Hay NOMS.
– If they are connected and have a WAN IP listed in Hay NOMS, check the mx480 for usage related issues. On Direct Wireless speeds are 2Mbps x 0.2Mbps.  Innovative Wireless 10Mbps x 1Mbps.
– Make note of what router model they have in use. Use MX480 to find router manufacturer by router OUI by using command “show subscribers detail address [IP]” where [IP] is the current WAN IP address in Hay NOMS which will show up if they are online.)
