There is an SMS/MMS Gateway login tab in the My Support Daily Channel, to be used to receive MMS (picture text messages) from customers to support. This number is not to be used for ongoing conversations.
Number to give customers to text 807-700-4500. Message will come in to Outlook inbox a few minutes after customer sends it.
Follow the instructions below to send and outgoing SMS:
From the ‘My Support Daily Chat’ channel, select the ‘SMS Gateway’ tab at the top of the screen.

Open link in a new browser tab and login using the credentials found in KeePass. Click on Services > SMS/MMS Messages, then scroll down and click inside the Add Recipients field.

Enter customer cell phone number and click on “Add…” to confirm.

Select sender DID. You may need to adjust the width of the Teams window so you can see the entire screen.

Scroll down to text field, type in your message and click on the send icon.

Any replies from customer will come in to assist@my-support.ca email account.

Once that gateway is opened, you can continue your conversation using your mail program, even after logging out of the SMS portal.
