Complete – Cable Standard Internet Upgrade 10x1Mbps to 20x2Mbps

Update 11:36AM Jan 10th – All docsis3 cable modems (less 2 that have pending disconnect orders) that were on a 10Meg package have been upgraded to the 20Meg package.  The remaining docsis2 modems are now on a ’10 MEG DOC2′ package and at some point in the future will be sent a letter explaining the upgrade procedure if the customer wants 20Meg.

Update 2:57PM – Hensall is done.  Zurich is done.  Now doing Grand Bend.

MSC has started a script to upgrade all eligible customers to the new Standard Cable Internet package which is 20 x 2Mbps.

Only customers with a DOCSIS 3 modem will be upgraded.

If any customer calls in do normal internet troubleshooting.

Customers who have an older modem (ie: Motorolla 5xx Series or Arris 602)  will remain on 10x1Mbps and we will provide more information on that in the coming weeks.
