Closing the Queue – TCC

When the queue fills up to 10 people and voicemails start coming in steady, we can close the queue temporarily:

1) Set the two status messages accordingly per the above instructions.

2) Dial *296

a. If the system says, “your auto attendant account has been ACTIVATED” the system is blocking incoming calls temporarily.

b. If the system says, “your auto attendant account has been DEACTIVATED” the system is allowing calls to come into support.

Ensure there is a status message set before closing the queue.

L2 also needs to be notified that the queue is being closed.
