- some UPS models look similar to this, there are other models out there as well
- tech can go on site if customer has trouble opening it
How to Replace Your Backup Battery
Batteries may be found in your utility room, basement, storage room, garage, or laundry room. Make sure you remove the power from the Cyber Power unit prior to working with the battery.
- Remove the battery door.
- To remove the old battery, simply release the strap holding the battery in place.
- Pull the battery out from the case.
- Disconnect the red and black wires.
- Take the new battery and reconnect the red and black wires and match them up to the red and black squares.
- Fit the battery back into place inside the case.
- Fasten the strap around the battery.
- Snap the cover back into place.
- The indicator light should go back to green.
