G.hn

Software is Positron.

  • A customer with the G.hn will have a positron modem, and an 844.
  • There should be an IP in ivue under their account you can go to.
  • When you put in that IP the user is admin and the password is haycomm.
  • Once you are logged in, at the top it will either say GAM-12-C or GAM-12-M, C means coax, and M means twisted pair (connected via phone line)
  • From the main page you will want to navigate to the left side and look under the Monitor Tab.
  • Under Monitor you will see G.hn, click to expand that, and then go to Overview.
  • Under Overview you will see all the ports that are active, green means that they are connected, yellow means admin down (so the port is turned down, likely because there is no customer hooked on there)
  • In ivue it will tell you which port they are on, if you click on their port it shows the System uptime (this is not for the modem, it is for the actual port itself)
  • You will want to click on the green plus beside there port, when you do that it will show you a mac address, this mac is for their modem.
