If a customer is paying for the Crave TV service, and needs help setting it up on device, the first step is to set up a Watch TV Everywhere account if the customer does not yet have one.
Setting up a WatchTV Everywhere Account
After customer has WTVE credentials, have them sign out of the Crave app (if they are already signed in), or if not have them go to the sign in screen on the app and ask them to select Sign In Using TV Service Provider.
While they find their way there, you can go to Crave.ca/activate and sign in on their behalf with their wtve credentials.
When the customer chooses to sign in using TV Service provider, they will be given a code which can be entered on the screen where you have signed in, on their behalf. After they give you the code and you enter it, wait a few seconds and they will be signed in.
NOTE:
Watch TV Everywhere subscriptions do not activate until the service order is closed, then it updates the WTVE system every 4 hours so it can take up to 6 hours for it to activate the subscription after the service order is closed (if customer orders Crave TV today, they might not be able to sign in until tomorrow).
